MSNBC Gives The Alt Right A Huge Win By Firing Sam Seder Over A Contrived Smear. We Must Speak Out.

In 2009, progressive pundit Sam Seder had heard enough of people saying Roman Polanski’s film making skills were more important than the fact that he was a child rapist. In response, he showed his disgust by posting a tweet saying this:

“Don’t care re Polanski, but I hope if my daughter is ever raped it is by an older truly talented man w/a great sense of mise en scene”
The context of the tweet was as above. Seder was mocking the argument being used to defend Polanski. Taken out of context, however, it sounds like something else.

Seder has been an articulate critic of Donald Trump and Roy Moore so the Alt Right decided he would make a good target. Bottom feeder Mike Cernovich dug through years of his tweets to find just the one to take out of context to try to destroy him.

It took going back NINE years but they finally hit pay dirt and sent the tweet to everyone who does business with Seder. The letter to advertisers claimed to be from someone very upset because their life had been touched by child rape.

Sam said he's lost advertisers for his podcast as well, and is trying to stabilize the show:

I think he was fighting for a time slot back then and kept getting bumped around.

I had never heard of him, and like many tuned in originally because of Franken. I found Sam to be very genuine and very funny.

Stupid decision by MSNBC, but they make lots of stupid decisions.

There is obviously a coordinated effort to muzzle those in the media that lean left.

He was too truthy and up front honest about who is trying to ruin this country.

and they are about to reap billions from the new tax scam should it ultimately pass. I was hoping to hear a mention from Rachel or Lawrence but, I guess that were wearing millionaire corporate lackey shoes earlier last evening.

They took out Acorn. I remember when Michelle Malkin complained about a Dunkin Donuts commercial in which Rachel Ray wore a scarf that looked too much like a terrorist scarf. They pulled the ad.

Rush Limbaugh, some years ago called Sandra Fluke a slut for talking about birth control before Congress.

That made all advertisers pull out of political talk radio, and hurt people like Sam hard, but of course not Rush.

Sam’s Majority Report is still on, but he gets by with mostly subscriptions. If you can, subscribe. I listen to him daily, and he has great political sense.
