Saddened and depressed by muted reaction to Muslim ban

Really hits me how something so overtly bigoted has become normalized over the last year. The descent will continue unabated until the traitor is removed from office. Guess this is how "it" happens here.

1. It is not normalized...but it is expected. You have Trump in office.

There is little anyone can do. The Republicans own it all. We need to vote them out in 18 and beyond...good start in Virginia.

5. What was your own noisier reaction, Va Lefty?

It's so common for people to come here to accuse others of not caring. But if that's the big message, it wastes an opportunity to speak to the crime itself.

This has been in and out of court many times since last January. And this decision is not the final one. It was 7-2 to uphold, but a number of challenges on other bases were and are still headed to the high court, which is expected to hear them.

If you go find a protest and join it, btw, I guarantee you'll feel less sad. It works that way.

6. Not looking for a fight or accusing anyone specifically

8. Oh, media bias and corruption. Well, go for it! But,

a bunch of major newspapers covered it some 15 hours or so ago, and you can be sure thoughtful articles will follow, as well as the usual junkier ones.

If it's the boob tube you're bothered by, remember there's precious little time between commercials for news, and CNN, MSNBC and Fox cable networks are not in the news business. They're mostly political entertainment and propaganda and are still mostly doing saturation coverage of far more titillating boob grabbing.

Personally, I'm still waiting for something to force the media to report on FBI collusion in throwing the 2016 elections to the right. That's HUGE.

It's also very not safe for individual reporters to stick their heads out of the cover of the crowd on that one.

7. This is what happens when Republicans install judges.

Dems in power barely made a peep for all those months the GOP held the SCOTUS seat hostage. They should have been all over the television screaming about it. There should have been a legal challenge. But we got crickets. It's going to get a whole lot worse because the Orange Fuhrer is busy installing far right judges in lifetime positions. It doesn't matter how loud the response is now - it's too late.
