It also means moving the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and using taxpayer dollars to build a new embassy.
And putting this country in the crosshairs of terrorism. And of course, any attack on this country is a declaration of war according to this WH. And as this is predictable and likely, this country will be intertwined with defending Israeli interests with our own.
It's so much more than a change-of-address.

Why does Jesus need a temple? Would it be a Jewish temple ? I thought they attended churches and that was their lords house.
Makes no sense but they rarely do

(12,858 posts)I've been hooked on 'Biblical' end times prophets for some time. There have been many on TBN (Trinity Broadcast Network, founded by Paul and Jan - major big hair - Crouch).
They are all very passionate (many look like experts on the various 'aliens were here' tv shows). There's lots of disagreement - premillenial, postmillenial, tribulation, etc. Slacktivist at patheos discusses these ideas a lot in his many posts critiquing page by page the book Left Behind.
2 men in the 19th cent introduced these ideas into American fundamentalism - Dabney and Schofield. See esp the Schofield reference Bible.
Watch these endtimes people on the Jim Bakker show, the Gary Stearman show, John Hagee. Some major ones are Tim Horn and John Schooley (sp?). Bakker calls Schooley the 'prophet from the desert' (possibly implying a connection to John the Baptist).
The major Biblical prophet now is Rabbi Jonathon Cahn with his NYT bestsellers The Harbinger, The Paradigm, The Schmeta (sp?). He's on the Jim Bakker show a lot. And has been on the Sid Rothmann show It's Supernatural. He also has his own show
Tons of this stuff in videos on youtube.

The Vikings believed that one day the world as we know it would come to an end, they called this day for Ragnarok, (old Norse Ragnarökr). Ragnarok is not only the doom of man but also the end of the Gods and Goddesses. It will be the final battle between the Aesir and Giants. The battle will take place on the plains called Vigrid.
It is here that the mighty Midgard serpent will be emerging from the sea, while it splashes its tail and sprays poison in all directions, causing huge waves crashing towards the land. Meanwhile, the fire giant Surtr will set Asgard (the home of the Gods and Goddesses) and the rainbow bridge Bifrost on fire. The Fenrir wolf will break free of his chains and spread death and destruction. The sun and the moon will be swallowed by the wolves Sköll and Hati, and even the world tree Yggdrasil will shake the ground.

(16,319 posts)The president can sign the waiver preventing the moving of the embassy (congress passed a law that has not been enforced due to executive action) but still acknowledge that the capital of Israel is J'lem, which it is.

(46,122 posts)If Jerusalem itself is attacked or the new American embassy (remember, Tehran in 1979?), the U.S. military is engaged. As of this day, if a bomb goes off in Jerusalem, Nikki Haley goes to the U.N. and makes a protest. After there is a U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, the days at the U.N. are over.
