Mike Huckabee: If Conyers and Franken Can Serve in Office, 'Why Not Have Roy Moore?'

by Justin Baragona | 11:19 am, December 5th, 2017

This morning on Fox News, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee gave us a nice little mixture of the GOP’s greatest hits in his defense of Roy Moore.

Asked to give his prediction of the Alabama Senate race now that President Donald Trump has officially endorsed Moore and the RNC has reinvested in the state, Huckabee said he thought Moore would win because Democrat Doug Jones “is such an unacceptable candidate.” He then brought up recent Democratic scandals to give grounds for why Moore deserved to be in the Senate.

“They have a lot of questions about Roy Moore, I understand that,” Huckabee said. “But you know it’s down to the fact that as long as [Sen.] Al Franken [D-MN] is in the Senate, and [Rep. John] Conyers [D-MI] is staying in office, why not have Roy Moore?”

Huckabee added that Moore has “denied the charges against him vehemently and categorically,” seemingly parroting Trump’s talking points regarding the multiple accusations against the Senate candidate.

Immediately following Huckabee’s segment, Conyers announced he was immediately retiring from Congress. The Michigan Congressman’s decision follows reports that he settled a wrongful dismissal case of a woman who claimed she was fired because she rejected sexual advances from Conyers. Additional allegations of sexual misconduct against the Michigan Democrat have also surfaced.

If there's a rightwing pedophile needing defended, Huckabee is always there to be a friend.

9. Roy-Boy got removed from the bench TWICE for violating federal law.

Roy-Boy hates the Constitution. He hates separation of church and state. He hates the fact that women can run for office. He hates the fact that women work outside the home. He hates Muslims. He hates people of color.

And there's a very good chance that the GOP will welcome him to the Senate with open arms.

The GOP: the party of sexual predators, racists, misogynists, and religious bigots.

Go get 'em, Roy-Boy.

Go ahead and "dignify" Roy Moore, GOPers.

11. Because Roy Molests Teenage Girls!

He has been removed from his position as a judge for mixing up religion and government and disobeying a federal court order. Jones finally got the killers of little girls after decades.

Franken was accused of sexual touching and kissing by a woman who goosed a musician and kissed a total stranger on stage.

Conyers did not molest teenagers.

rethugs do not care that there are degrees of malfeasance when they fire up the smear machine.

Senator Franken is no Roy Moore or Donald Trump. Fuck you Huckabee.

So while Roy Moore is praising his religious ways he is groping little girls and stalking them and molesting them.
