Why didn't Trump fire his personal lawyer, John Dowd ??

Dowd said he was the one that sent the tweet that incriminated Trump in an obstruction of justice.

Most people think that Dowd lied to cover up for Donald Trump, because Trump asked him to take the blame?

But, if a lawyer actually lied to cover up for his client, that is good reason for disbarment.

Why didn't Trump fire him??

Because Trump was the author of the "tweet" and he lied about it.

Dowd is no longer just his personal attorney, he may now be a "witness" in Mueller's investigation. The law will not permit him to be both.
