Robert Mueller is now heading straight into the heart of darkness:

the private banking side of Deutsche bank, a bank that had to pay a large fine for money-laundering.

Unable to borrow from the corporate side after he failed to repay a loan and then sued the bank, he found the private side more willing to lend huge sums of money to him. Why?

There is no public indication of precisely why Mueller subpoenaed the bank. Michael Offit, a former head of Deutsche Bank’s commercial real estate desk who initiated the bank’s relationship with Trump in the 1990s, raises one possibility: Mueller could be interested in who provided the money Deutsche Bank used for the Trump loans. “The source of the money would be invisible to Trump, at least theoretically invisible to Trump. Maybe [Deutsche’s private bank] is making loans using pooled money from all its depositors, or maybe it’s just from one individual or group, i.e. Russians,” Offit says. “That’s probably what Mueller is trying to find out.”

In a statement, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), said, “Special Counsel Mueller’s subpoena of Deutsche Bank would be a very significant development. If Russia laundered money through the Trump Organization, it would be far more compromising than any salacious video and could be used as leverage against Donald Trump and his associates and family.”

Mueller’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

As for far more compromising, the dossier's ex- MI6 author kept most of what he felt was most serious back when he leaked parts of it through David Corn of Mother Jones.

Let's never forget that when he sent parts to his contacts in the FBI, the FBI buried it, leaving him out in the cold, rightfully worried and wondering who he could trust. He eventually chose to blow it open through David Corn because of his reputation for scrupulously protecting his informants. After that, while candidate Hillary stayed out of it, Sen. John McCain, backed by England's diplomatic/intelligence services, presented the dossier officially to the FBI, forcing Comey to take official notice and start investigating.

Douche Bank records will also go to AG Schneiderman. I believe He really wahts a turn at bat against the crime family known as Trump. It will also help inoculate Mueller from danger of pardons if state charges are also filed.
