But now she is squarely behind Moore, because .. she believes he’ll fight the "swamp" in Washington and speak his mind without regard to political correctness ...

A Washington Post-Schar Center poll .. found that a solid majority of likely voters in Alabama .. did not think that older men dating teenagers was more accepted by society in the 1970s than it is today. However, a third of overall respondents believed it was more accepted back then, including 37 percent of Republicans ...

"A pro-life Democrat would have won this particular race running away. The distaste for Roy Moore is so strong, if it wasn't for this one issue he wouldn’t stand a chance," says Elizabeth BeShears, a .. conservative columnist .. who recently opined that "Kids these days aren't supporting Roy Moore" ...

If only the election of Roy Moore could just affect their sorry state and not the rest of us. The public support of Moore by Dotard, McConnell and the rest of the KGOP is a full on assault on women. It is a threat. How anybody can miss that - especially women is beyond me.

assume a two-way position on abortion? E.g., personally oppose it but respect SC decision. Just like one may oppose same sex marriage but respect the law and/or ‘evolve’ on the issue after election. This may gain them some of those votes. Democrats need to be way more strategic. Too much is at stake to be playing purists. If Doug Jones loses solely due to his position on abortion then democrats failed in politics. There should be a way to maneuver this issue. Reps do it all the time on all kinds of issues and win elections. The bar is so low right now, strategy and focus on winning must come first.

I'm going to call bullshit on that one, Elizabeth BeShears. There's always a reason for you to do the wrong thing, always an excuse for you to place party over country, personalities over principle. If it wasn't abortion, it would be something else as your excuse to support a child molester like Roy Moore. Just admit that your standards run one way and one way only. You'll swallow your distaste, hold your nose, and punch your ballot for Moore because he's a Republican, no other reason. It's your tribe, your identity, and nothing will sway you.
