I must say, from my own perspective, that I believe in the possibility of redemption, in regards to General Mike Flynn.
If he has decided to flip and is successful in ridding us of the scourge now devouring our country, then I am ready to give him a second chance and I am willing to forgive his transgressions against our country. Even though he is probably doing it to save his own ass, if he can stop the fog machine now enveloping our nation, then I am ready to remove the "goat" label. He could become a "hero" if he is successful in getting rid of the present threat to our democracy.
In his statement, he mentioned doing it for "our country"? If he has truly seen a change of heart, I am willing to give him a second chance. Just my own personal opinion.

(43,182 posts)That doesn't mean I don't appreciate the fact that he's doing it, but I'm not going to paint either of these guys as magnanimous heroes or patriots.
They're like Henry Hill.

Take care

I'm talking "nail" like even most Republicans have to admit that Trump needs to be impeached

(6,905 posts)No, firemen who start fires don't deserve credit for putting them out. Bank robbers don't become heroes when they get caught, just because they turn in their fellow crooks.
Lock him up!!
