On the other, he had laid the groundwork for nailing the same. If Mueller can close the deal I think he will secure the legacy that he is now seeming to pursue.

3. I disagree that he only "helped" Trump into the White House. I think he totally dominated the race.

Without Comey's July press conference or his October letter Hillary would have easily won by double digits.

the Benghazi inquiry. That is a very dangerous thing.

It offers a sick kind of validation to their behavior. It lets them say history is written by the winners. And they won't let that go. Ever.

There was so much anti-Hillary propaganda out there I doubt if she would have won by any more then 5-8%.

And there wouldn't have been so much vitriol had it not been for the July press conference.

Then again, the FBI never should have taken up the investigation to begin with. If the State Department had something they wanted to look into they should have done it themselves. And, certainly, the FBI should not have responded to requests from Republican congressional committees.
