Know the Franken's for more than thirty years. When this first started, just went what the heck? Having family involved in Entertainment and Comedy as Script Writers or Stage Crafters, things are sometimes crazy. And the People in that Industry know who to stay away from, and Al's name never surfaced until couple of weeks ago.

Something smells,what's the Game?

accusers are generally to be believed, usually in part because there's little incentive to lie and great disincentives to lie.

that said, in politics the hit job is great incentive for people to lie, so it's certainly possible to gin up a scandal along the lines of what franken was accused of.

that said, why did he apologize? if the accusations aren't directly true, he must know there's stuff he's done he needs apologizing for and that would come out anyway.

it's fair to say he could have defended against this very differently and perhaps the outcome might have been different, but surely he had his reasons.

They're about to elect Roy Moore. What would a few infidelities for Coleman matter to them?

Believe he is working with or Partners of Vin Weber's K Street outfit. Weber was front running something in the Ukraine some time back.

Weber/Coleman names will pop up again in and around Manafort/Gates investigation.
