and they win the election.

This Franken hit job was a trial run to see if it would work and we fell for it.

Our senators are tripping over themselves to get up and demand Franken step down.

We should at least demand an investigation before pushing him under the bus.

We're about to snatch defeat in 2018 from the jaws of victory.

Any of us could pile on, not give our names and be added to the body count. It deserves an ethics investigation before anyone goes anywhere. This is especially true now that we are saddled with a predator in the White House. And his accusers have appeared in public and/or filed lawsuits.

It's one thing for his fellow senators to call for him to resign for very practical reasons -- they're all public figures and that carries its own hazards and duties. Sometimes sacrifice is necessary.

But for zealots to abandon whatever principles they should have to gleefully call for someone else's sacrifice in advance of proof of crime is something else entirely.

I can name a half dozen women within a short walk who tell lies about all of us all the time. There'd be a bit more delay finding some with enough guts to say publicly what they say privately, but that's all.
