21. Trump never admitted to anything.

Franken took responsibility and apologized to these women, even if he didn't do anything. He apologized for them feeling like he did something. Read that again, he apologized for them feeling like he did something.

A Republican will NEVER do that. NEVER! They're incapable of feelings. Furthermore, they will never apologize for anything, even if they did do it!

It's just the basic difference between a Democrat and a Republican. Democrats are decent people who have empathy for other's pain. Republicans don't give a shit about other people's pain!

That's the difference. It's not equitable, it's not fair, but it is what it is. Democrats either have to change the way they handle situations such as this, or they have to surrender to the Republicans dirty god-damned tricks and stop whining. I say we take some Republican names, and kick some Republican ass. This will not sit well with many Democrats delicate sensibilities, however. We have to choose. Which is it? Are we always going to be victims of GOP dirty tricks, or are we going to toughen up and kick some ass?

the women in question accused him of. Yes, his remarks on the Access Hollywood tape would seem to suggest he's entirely capable of such things, but he did not admit to doing anything to the women who've accused him of being a sexual predator. On the contrary, he's denied all claims of any guilt whatsoever.

Sorry if the truth upsets you. I said these things would go against many Democrats' sensibilities. They will, but the fact remains that Republicans never admit to anything. NEVER. Even with insurmountable evidence against them, they still deny, deny, deny. That's how they win. They have no conscience, and no integrity. But they win.

Again, he has not admitted guilt to anyone that has accused him of sexual impropriety.

Is he a scuzz-bag? Without question. These other PUBLIC SERVANTS have been accused of sexual improprieties. Trump was a private citizen at the time of that pageant. Trump was a private citizen when these sexual improprieties were alleged to have happened. But as "president" he has denied all wrongdoing. IF he were like the Democrats and admitted to these sexual improprieties, and he failed to resign, then there's more of a basis on which to stand for his removal on those grounds, BUT REPUBLICANS NEVER ADMIT TO ANYTHING.

I hope you understand the difference now. No malice intended. Peace.

No standard has been set for not having sexual predators in powerful positions. It's up to the people who gave him power to hold him accountable. They are his "boss" so to speak.

the ganging up on Franken by dems. Do they think makes a goddamn bit of difference to repuke voters? This "moral high ground" they're pretending to take means absolutely nothing! The pukes support trump and moore. WTF do they care except they get to take down another dem with the dems doing the taking down!! This is absolutely insane! This country is done and finished! The next thing we'll see is the dems supporting trump for re-election!
