It's more that we seem to be disarming ourselves when one of the most draconian tax bills in the history of our country is about to become law.

Most of these congress people making the principled stand won't be affected by it.

Unless Governor Dayton has been conducting interviews to find a replacement, it won't happen by Monday!

I like to think that the governor at had enough respect for Senator Franken, to wait until he made a decision!

And we can't have that. We must lie down like lambs for the GOP like the OP wants. Because hey, it ticks all the moralizing boxes and makes people feel good.

Al Franken is a smart, hard-working and valuable member of the Senate. If not for his pointed and well-informed questioning, Jeff Sessions would not be recused from the Mueller investigation.

That's reality - it's not "worship" for me to point out that reality.

But by all means, keep on piling up the straw, man.

At the moment there's no evidence to support the notion that such a thing won't happen, either! I understand that Norm Coleman was seen slithering around D.C. today!

Franken's seat isn't a guaranteed win for a Democrat, especially one who gets seated to finish out his term.

that started it all?

We know by now the original accuser, Tweeden, worked with Roger Stone and Hannity to concoct her story with a gag photo that was not actual groping, and photos of her actually groping a guitarist on stage on the same USO tour surfaced but she was not pilloried for groping as Franken was and is.

Has none of that occured to you?

All male Democratic politicians and candidates are now vulnerable to this new repug tactic of anonymous accusers because they now know other Dems will called for resignations instead of waiting on an investigation.
