I'm tired of it. We deserve the ass kickings we get. My grandfather was at Ludlow, and I'll bet you 3/4 that of the posters here don't even know what that was, and they are too lazy or indifferent to care. They FOUGHT at Ludlow. They fought hard. They drew blood.

We don't support unions anymore. We don't picket. We don't fight. We don't stay on message, and we eat our own. We fight about Merry Christmas while fascist, (yes, Trump is a fascist) wreaks havoc.

We take the high road and get our teeth kicked in. While Don Jr. rigs the election with the Russians, we complain because he trophy hunts. REALLY? That's what's important? A leopard?

I don't know if Al is guilty or not, but I know that he denies EVERYTHING they have accused him of AND most of his accusers are anonymous. Here we are as Democrats, eating our own on NO Evidence while the pedophile gets full support from the RNC.

I am fighting my impulse to leave the party at this point...things are hopeless on the current trajectory.

The GOP has stacked the Supreme Court, wrecked the budget for the next 4 generations, shred the safety net, killed healthcare access and the debate over how to care for the aging population, destroyed the prestige of the office of POTUS and put unqualified, disinterested idiots in charge of everything, including the Pussy Grabber in Chief and a suspected Pedophile in the Senate.

I cannot see how I am going to be able to stay in a political party that is so backass that we can't be stomping the life out of the current GOP.

We don't just suck, we should disband and try again under a new banner and new leadership...we keep getting the same damn results because we still have the same damn ineffective leadership and a lack of leadership is what produces wishy-washy, pie-in-the-sky results.

Trump should have been out on his ass before he EVER was gerrymandered into the office...yet, they find ways to win while we find ways to take the highroad...

We've been on the high road since Jimmy Carter was railroaded in his administration....non-stop capitulation and back-pedaling...everything important, we will find ways to embrace defeat and pretend victory was close or at hand....I just can't stay delusional forever. We are on the precipice of a national healthcare emergency with the Baby Boomers entering their collective twilight years...there is no plan in place any more to improve on (Obamacare was supposed to be that starting point...what now?) and every day it is going to get worse and worse and worse.

The nation needs radical change to change direction from the current suicide path...the Democratic Party is letting so many of us down, so far too.

Depression from last November is giving way to outright desperation in this December...
