I really don't get it. Like many, I was glad that the Anita Hill hearing brought the
"year of the women" when many women entered congress and when sexual harassment entered the lexicon.
Thus, I don't understand why it is the women senators who started the attack, one by one, demanding that Franken resign. Why go after Franken when nothing - except that photo - has been proven? Why not give him the benefit of the doubt, the ethics committee hearings? Why not accept the fact that with every case of notoriety, false witnesses show up to get their fame, or just to close old scores or to carry new favors?
They, and Schumer, may think that they are saving the Democratic party but in reality they are shredding it. Who would trust a bunch of elected officials who cannot even explain their behavior? Why do not show some loyalty? Do they really think that this will set an example for how Moore will be treated? If they really think so then they are incapable of rational and coherent thinking.
And after what these women have done - I think that Klobuchar is the exception - forget about demanding a woman in 2020. Any candidate - man or woman, gay or Muslim, African American or Native American - has to earn my respect, at least. And none of them have.
Just disgusted
