If we keep him, we stand to lose some votes and give the GOP another boogie man, if we let him go we lose a great Senator. And yeah, it aint fair, politics and life isn't.

(14,565 posts)Franken is a very good man and excellent senator but he left enough out there to be amplified in a climate like this.
Ever since this story broke his resignation seemed inevitable so I haven't paid attention to specifics. I believe in big picture logic. That only meant snowball.
I hope Franken figures out how to rehabilitate his image and be productive toward our cause going forward.
