1. Called her SF office. She is my Senator and expressed my dissapoint, The person answering the

phone was very sympathetic to my points

I will not support her over another candidate even if she is from CA if I don't at least get a good explanation.

5. Harris & Gillibrand bombarded on their Facebook pages. Perez too on his Twitter.

It seems to me, from the thousands and thousands of comments that the DNC and the senators really misunderstood a couple of things here -- how many non-politician Democrats feel this should be handled and misunderstood how to roll out this resignation stance on Franken without blowing up the party in a backlash of white hot anger.
