Next week at Roy Moore's victory speech, we'll all get to feel soooo morally superior

Then, when he's sworn in into the Senate by Mike Pence and takes pictures with his family, we'll be proud that we chased away a real fighter in the Senate because we've gone high while they went low. Finally, as Moore votes to give huge tax breaks to the 1% which will trigger cuts in SS and Medicare, we can then explain to our hungry and sick elders that "yes, you're suffering, but we're morally better than Republicans."

Some of the same moralists who are demanding a resignation happily voted for a big break for Wall Street.

for being more virtuous, upright and moral than the GOP, which doesn't give a single fuck about being virtuous, upright and moral as long as they get their tax cuts.

I am now convinced that the GOP would vote for Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer, sanctioning serial murder and cannibalism, as long as they get those tax cuts. Meantime, the Democrats would ditch Jesus Christ because he hung out with a prostitute.

In the worried words of Brit Hume, make him the hood ornament of the entire Republican party.
He will be the albatross around every puke candidate in the country.

Trump is losing college educated whites and Moore will increase that. The rednecks are a lost cause but the suburbs is where we've been losing elections.

I'm losing hope. There is more at work here than simple happenstance.

Franken must be gasping like a beached trout. How easily played his base turns out to be.

won't we all have a wonderfully moral tale to write on peeling wallpaper to leave for anyone who might find it.

This is SHIT! No god damn wonder the repubs keep handing us our asses time after time after time. What the hell is it going to take for people to wake TF up to what is at stake? They are literally dismantling every single bit of progress that has been made in 50 years, in ONE YEAR! And they're doing it whether we like it or not.

Why don't we just hand them everything and be done with it? Cause all we're doing at this point is wasting energy. Get busy living or get busy dying. We're dying right now.
