The Party, just like the rest of society, is going thru some major cultural changes. We are discovering that people that are accused of groping or sexual harassment or sexual assault usually do not do it only one time. They are usually serial "gropers" or serial "harassers". The politics of the issue are another matter entirely.
However, I think we should hold our cards close to the vest until the Alabama election is over. Doug Jones has not lost that race yet. If he were to win, it would shine a whole new light on both Parties.
The passion is understandably high. But, in my opinion, this is the time for cooler heads to prevail. At least for another week.

I'm not sure that is a good strategy.
But that is not an argument against cooler heads prevailing.

(6,797 posts)party are throwing their own under the bus what does it matter now? After Franken is gone who will it be next? If all you have to do is accuse someone without proof then they should all hang on because it could be them next
