Woman reports a predator anonymously.
"Anonymous accusations aren't credible!"
Woman reports under her name.
"She just wants fame and attention..."
Woman reports years after the attack.
"Why did she wait so long?!"
Woman reports immediately.
"What was she drinking/wearing/doing?"

(21,506 posts)Not cheering when no due process is given. They should be calling for all of these folks to face justice not a mob mentality unless we have completely given up on the law.
They should be clamoring for their day in court to take their oppressors to task.
My ears are open but what I am hearing is a mob not a call for justice.

(58,785 posts)with those who specifically don't and prey on them. But, there are many conundrums.
I disagree, btw, with those who are demeaning women by portraying all those come on to as victims, even happily consenting and conjoining women. Right now talking heads are equating Bill Clinton, whose zipper problem is inextricably combined with a genuine liking of women, with scumdog, creep, hostile predator Senator Bob Packwood, whose behavior was so appalling that he was forced to resign when no one else was back in the 1990s.
