It means he probably doesn't run in the next cycle but that's probably a foregone conclusion at this point. Then it's up to Schumer to decide if he wants to silence once of the most visible and effective liberal voices in the Senate by stripping him of his committee appointments.

IMHO, this would constitute "finding a spine".

There isn't a plausible way for them to kick him out at this point. The most that Senate Democrats could do is take his committee seats away.

He has done nothing to deserve being stripped of his seat.

If the Senate thinks he has, let them do the investigation. And let ALL the chips fly
