Using the Republicans Own Critria of Trump's Harrasement, Doesn't That Prove He's Guilty?

The Republican's excuse for Trump's long line of alleged sexual misconduct, including sexual assault, from multiple accusers, as well as his own words in the well know Access Hollywood tape, is that Trump won the election. Their reasoning goes like this, "the American voters vindicated Donald Trump of all those charges on November 8, 2016. They knew the full context of those charges and they rejected those charges by electing Trump."

Naturally, every thinking person would reject that premise on the face of it. But, let's for the sake of argument, humor our moronic friends who are Trump supporters.

Trump received 46% of the vote on election day. In fact, his opponent in that election actually got more votes than him. That leaves a vast majority of voters (54%) who voted against him. Vindication for his alleged crimes and indiscretions are not validated by the Electoral College, even the deplorables couldn't argue that.

When one places a civil case before a jury, only a majority of the jurors are necessary for a finding, one way or another. Only in criminal trials are juries required to be unanimous. So, if the election was truly a referendum on Trump's actions, he lost. There is no electoral college in the jury room.
