a tremendous boost to morale. If he resigns it means we have to redouble our efforts to stop trump.

We have to turn this into a positive no matter the outcome.

Democratic Party shooting itself in the foot by getting rid of Franken. Nothing good will come of this, if fact it is setting a ridiculously low bar for other Democratic politicians, in the expectation that this morale sacrifice will encourage Trump and Republicans to fall on their sword.

If Al is gone then obviously we need to stand and fight harder. That's turning a negative into a positive.

Your lack of reading comprehension is not my responsibility. My words were clear. It's like the end of another misunderstanding based sit-com. Thanks a lot!

Fear not, your words WERE clear, however they represent a pollyanna-esque view that good can come out of this. It's going to get worse.

If we're turning a negative into a positive doesn't that indicate an awareness of the negative?!

With respect, quit while you're behind because you are getting worse.

in the foot is more a lack of awareness than anything else. "You're going over a cliff ! Wow, this is a great opportunity to turn left instead of right next time !" Yeah, sure.
