2. He should fight if the allegations are bogus.

That in itself is a lot to ask of him, and his fighting can't help but undercut our willingness to believe accusers.

I want him to be innocent, or only a little bit guilty, but my hope is fading.

5. Even if the Tweeden accusation was a set up

the fact that so many others have come forward is damning. I've read that Tweeden was extensively coached before she came forward, and I'm sad for Al, but at this point it doesn't really matter. I do think he should stay until a replacement is named.
