Zero tolerance is zero common sense. (regarding Franken)

It feels like the fog of war surrounds us, truth is hard to discern.

A man is forgiven for nothing, if he can be pilloried as a useful example of moral purity?

If Franken resigns, I have NO USE for Chuck and Kirsten and any of the others including Bernie who I campaigned for.

If this is a stupid pet trick, whereby Al already planned to resign and the Dems are just using it for political points, well, they forgot about US. I’m not worried about Al and his “career”. When Al Gore had HIS election stolen, I didn’t worry about HIM, and when Hillary had her election stolen, I didn’t worry about HER.

Those were OUR elections, Al is OUR representative, and those events steal from US. Election fraud and political malfeasance ROB US, the citizens, of the government and representation that we need, want and deserve.

Zero tolerance for “sexual misconduct”? How about zero tolerance for financial corruption, for beating up reporters or for treason (Rohrbacher)?

Zero tolerance for rape, yes, of course. Zero tolerance for abuse of children, yes. But this hit job turned into witch hunt turned into mob hysteria (or perhaps turned into convenient grandstanding) at the expense of American liberals who deserve to know the real reason this is happening? Bullshit.

No, Al. Your possible resignation won’t hurt just YOU. It hurts all of us. JUST SAY NO.

You can lose your car over a seed of marijuana, or your kid can get suspended for drawing a picture of a gun.

Been saying it for years.

or even forming his fingers in the shape of a gun.

Zero tolerance leads to 100% kneejerk stupidity.

Zero tolerance equals injustice. It means that the context and facts don't matter. I think that it is a disgrace that democratic senators are revealed as nothing more than craven politicians. It is a great disappointment. And for now my wallet is closed.

Sen. Franken deserved an ethics investigation. If he deserves to be driven out of the senate then those facts would come forth.

In my opinion, Sen. Gillibrand has a private agenda. She is arrogant and I don't like her. I also think that a lot of the senators who signed on to her calling for Franken's resignation did so because they don't want anyone to point to them and say "He/She doesn't care about women."

The bullshit of this sorry episode is sickening and it is the definition of a man being railroaded without due process.

When schools implement it, it means they don't want to expend any energy or time dealing with anything. Just punish everyone immediately without asking questions if anyone dares to draw any attention to themselves. Zero tolerance is for intellectually lazy moral cowards.
