he is getting an earful from Democrats unhappy with the decision to ask Franken to resign without affording him an ethics hearing
I really hope Al Franken doesn't even consider resigning under these circumstances where it appears like a Democratic lynch mob, until that hearing occurs

(35,454 posts)You can NEVER actually get through, even to leave a message. Frankly, I think his phone are rigged to not answer. I've callled more times than I can say and have NEVER gotten through. And on the odd time that you do, the voice says someone will be with you and you are left just hanging on and then eventually, the phone clicks off.
