(21,849 posts)and that is why they pressured Franken to leave.
So my answer is none.

(2,091 posts)There is hardly any credible evidence of sexual harassment by Franken, we have a couple of questionable accounts, and some anonymous accusations that could have been made by literally anybody.....
And it is important to railroad Franken.....right now......
Because there are likely to be more accusations coming in?
Now, since we don't know who these other cases are, it seems appropriate to ponder whether anyone else is getting railroaded here?
Will railroading Franken make it easier to railroad someone else?
I get it. The guardians of the high road at work......
Sanity Claws
(21,849 posts)I am not questioning whether Franken is being railroaded. I just answered your initial question whether any of those who got him to leave will be caught up in the new story.
Keep in mind that you and I don't know who will be included in the new story. However, Democratic leadership may know through their sources.

(17,305 posts)in terms of ReThugs and Dems among those accused?
BannonsLiver
(16,396 posts)That seems to be the trend. Republicans don't harass, or at least that's what the media would have us believe.
True Dough
(17,305 posts)That would be Fox News or Breibart or some such trash. CNN, on the other hand, takes the ReThugs to task frequently, as they should!
BannonsLiver
(16,396 posts)It's a mixed bag. And the ratio of Dems to Republicans that have been reported by CNN and elsewhere post Weinstein is a disgrace. It's been a one way street, and we all know in the real world that is not the case.
I don't watch Fox and I sure as fuck don't read Breitbart.
True Dough
(17,305 posts)They are supposed to be unbiased, after all. Yet if you talk to anyone who leans right, CNN is the devil. It's largely in the eye of the beholder. I think they do a great job, for the most part.

Now if they are Republicans, who cares?
Our guardians of the high ground never asked Trump to resign. They aren't about to ask any Republican to resign.
First and foremost we must cave?

(2,091 posts)The Republicans will say any Democrats who are accused should follow Franken's example. Meanwhile, they will ignore the Republicans who are accused.
All the Republicans have to do is nothing....just wait for the Democrats to high ground themselves to death,.....and then march on as if nothing ever happened.

(2,091 posts)it will be easy to force all the Democrats to resign.....you know.....for the high ground.
The Republicans will just say everyone else is doing it, what's the big deal?
No Republicans will resign. And, dutifully, Gillibrand will not say a word about the Republicans.
Don't want to get the Republicans upset, when you have Democrats to fry!
