As for "good work on tax bill," who's to blame for the fact that we're the minority party in all 3 houses? Not our leaders, who worked themselves to exhaustion practically begging people to vote.

We all know a bunch of people here helped create Republican majorities in both houses of congress, regardless of whether or how they voted. It wasn't our leaders, it was years of this kind of message, disconnected from principles, going out.

It's us. Everyone blaming our leaders for our losses, same as they did before we lost, is shining a light on themselves.

I've asked others, and I'll ask you: What ARE your political principles and how is your behavior upholding them, or isn't it? Don't waste time answering me. And, btw, none of the others could. Breaking the habits of years of complaint and evasion to define and develop a coherent set of personal principles one can excited about fighting for are two big jobs that are both too big for many. Even the Repubs seemed stunned that he didn't get a hearing/investigation, so the real heat came from Democrats.

Ms. Leeann was obviously asked if she could go back and see if she could find something or say something to bring him down. Otherwise, it would have come out before, when he ran, if she was so upset. Sounds like Karl Rove or someone called for a hit job on Franken because he was effectively calling out Repubs.

I think Gillabrand wants to run for President. She has her anti Clinton thing going to pick up the Hillary and Bill Haters, and that's potentially a lot of people.
Now, she thinks she's getting the #metoos, which means every woman. Then, she needs to knock the most obvious potential competitors, who are way better than her, out. She whipped people into a frenzy, idiots. I wonder if she, or someone close to her, could be one of the Anonymous accusers, and she didn't want that to come out?

Possibly she too worked with the Trumpsters. Maybe not that, but there is something there.
She derailed him from the right to confront his accusers, a basic constitutional right, and the Dems lined up like lemmings.

She didn’t know Roger Stone was involved until after he tweeted about Franken’s “time in the Barrel”

Picture isn’t fake. It’s bad. Leeann’s shown it to people for yrs. Hannity wanted her to share it 2007. She wasn’t comfortable. In 2017 people with bad intentions got involved. Says she didn’t realize they were who they were. Leeann was grateful to tell story & move on. The End?

Another of the accusers was a Trumpster/devote Republican who defended Trump & Moore while continuing to criticize Franken

- kissed on the cheek
- touched butt when getting photo (I think twice)
- squeezed waist during a photo
- touched side of boob during photo
with four of them unidentified

And the above unverified is enough to end the political career of an otherwise fine senator.
