Is there any possibility of this scenario?

Dems complete Ethics Comm investigation of Franken, he is found to be not guilty - that it was a wingnut media smear job (actually, I'm not sure of what "results" such investigations yield); then Dems reverse call for Franken to resign, but call for Dump to resign?
