With a little patience, we could have not compromised on either.
We tried to climb to the moral high ground and ended up tumbling down the other side.

(1,907 posts)The republicans are and anyone who doesn't make even the highest leader go through the ethics committee is. It's wrong. It's wrong for ANYONE to harass anybody and ALL should be held to account!

(82,849 posts)But I have been cautioned to wait and see if the 35 Democratic Senators who demanded Franken's resignation will demand Paul's resignation as well. Not sure how long that wait is going to be, but I think holding my breath is contra-indicated.
