If anyone thinks Franken resigning will change a single voters mind

If anyone thinks Franken resigning will change a single voters mind you are deluded

The Republican voters are going to ignore or forgive any trans gression by their candidate

There is no moral high ground when it comes to the Republicans

Outside of possible societal and personal implications, this will change almost nothing. Period.

That’s one reason why some vote for the gop even though it’s usually against their own interests. There was no strength today from the senate dems who railroaded Franken.

as I said below - my sister has switched to being a Dem after many years of being a repub. She talks about the Dems being weak and not fighting back. That is a biggie for R's switching.

they are a cult...

reality is foreign to them. My brother was arguing with an old friend who insisted trump won the popular vote, he showed him online, wiki, cnn, and then FOX and he still insisted it was wrong. fake news.

we are fucked.

Local right wing talking heads
Are already dismissing it saying that I'll Franken is gross he admitted it and that there's no evidence against any Republican

And that it's just a political trick to try to gain leverage over Roy Moore

I am thinking of my sister who was an R for years. She has come to identify as a Democrat but always mentions that the Dems in Congress are spineless. I suspect this will keep her home as it may others.
