If we become stuck with Pence, would he at least be kinder to animals?

I have read that he and Mother have many pets, which the Sicko in Chief mocks them about. IDK, just trying, desperately, to find something positive in the midst of this mind boggling hell.

Unfortunately cats and especially dogs tend not to live much past their mid-teens - I see nothing sinister here.

Probably had very good care.

Contrast that to the pet-less Trump who thinks Pence is low class for having pets.

Trump can literally destroy the planet.

So Pence is an improvement.

It's now become, which monster do we want. I agree that Pence would be slightly better.

His wacked out religious beliefs scare me too.

He would maybe be the worst president in history. If it weren't for Trump

although his policies are pretty loathsome. I will cut him and his family just a tiny bit of slack because he has a puppy, two cats, a rabbit and a snake. Otherwise he pretty much sucks.

Trump, on the other hand, declared the Pences to be "low class" because they brought their pets to D.C. with them. Like Trump isn't about as low-class as it's possible to be. Class is something money can never buy.

I mean on every single aspect of his life he is terrible.

Isn't even an animal lover.

With just about anybody you don't like...even hate....there is SOMETHING that you have to respect if not like. If you dig deep enough beyond your disagreements.

With Trump he is 100% evil.

Then again, the exception to the rule was Harry Truman, who actually DIDN'T like pets and sent a sweet puppy given him to a friend. so... I like to think it was the stress of dropping the bomb that made him that way.

I'm hoping at least endangered species might be spared from immediate extinction, on the disgusting basis that we're culling the herds.

on the animal policies of the candidates. They ranked as follows:

1) Hillary
2) Pence
3) Kaine
4) and in a very dead last place, Trump.

If even one of the debate moderators had ended the debate with something like, "how many pets do you have" (or at least "do you like pets" because some people have allergies) instead of "say something nice about each other", it would have opened a few eyes. The one person I know who voted for Trump who hates him now changed her mind because of some of the things he's done that harm animals.

I shared the link on Facebook at the time, and got almost zero response to it.
