Was just thinking forward a bit concerning Franken. He's not done you know.

Many people have had to leave office only to come back a few years later.

From everything I know about Franken, he is strong and a good person. He will grow and when he returns he will be an even better person.

I am looking forward to his return.

I don't know his personal situation and headspace, but if I was so easily crumpled up and thrown under the bus surrounded by such hypocrisy by my own party, I'd totally be all "Seeya...gonna do a TV show, write some more books, do a Netflix standup and retire by hosting SNL when I feel like it. Thanks for the free lifetime healthcare! Byeeeee."

He said as much.

I confess I did not appreciate his successes until the scandal erupted and I read more about his role.

He may find a better venue for his talents.
