The Queen’s hand is squarely on her butt. It happens when there is a height difference. Franken is 5’5”. There is no avoiding this.

add in literally thousands of opportunities for it to happen and it is inevitable.

I've noticed over the years that you can usually subtract at least an inch or two from their proclaimed height, sometimes as much as three. (I noticed this because I used to do sports reporting part-time back in the 90s and I'm certain that every player in the NBA is likely listed about 2 inches taller than their real height a 7 foot center is more impressive and marketable than a 6'10" center, after all)

Women do it as well, but it's not quite as common and they do it differently - shorter women may add an inch or two to their height, while tall women sometimes will subtract an inch or two so as not to appear too tall, especially in the celebrity world.

He also played college football, and they listed his weight as much more than he actually weighed.

I lived across the hall from 2 short guys - one guy claimed his was 5'8" and the other said he was 5'5". The 5'5" guy's girlfriend (who was under 5 feet tall admitted that he was really 5'2&quot - the 5'8" guy was likely 5'5" or 5'6"

But, my ex-wife used to claim she was 5'1", but she was likely closer to 4'11" than 5'1" - however, I think if she said she was 4'11", she would stand out as unusual more than if she was over 5 foot. I used to laugh when she said one of the requirements of a future husband was that he had to be taller than her - it didn't eliminate too many guys. And, I know Sophie Turner of Game of Thrones fame is listed at 5'9", but if you see her in publicity photos, she is clearly several inches taller than Kit Harrington and Iwan Rheon, both listed at 5'8" - however, I think if she lists her height as 5'11" or 6'0", she might fear losing leading roles for towering over a potential leading man

in a different context, of the royal wedding and a discussion about racism and Republicans' sudden expertise in royal protocol (which is maybe where you saw it recently).

Here it is again, not least because it's a lovely pic. But it does clearly show what you and I claim it shows, which is more than can be said about all the later Franken photos!

He's accused of groping multiple women over a period of years. I get that you don't think he did it, but by intentionally diminishing the claims, it seems like you'd be unwilling believe any number of women.
