Can FRanken Change His MInd

Even JOhn Ziegler is defending him and telling a story on Tweeden. It seems not all is what so many thought it was and a gun was jumped. Or something like that...so as he hasn't actuaLLY stepped down, can his promise to do so be rescinded?

He said he would be "resigning in the coming weeks." So maybe he can change his mind.

He's seen that his own party along with 33 of his colleagues, will throw him under a bus for political expediency?

I thought he said he would be. As to why would he after so many senators urged him to do so, I think he really believes in the work he was doing. He's just that kind of guy.

You say you get that.

So which was the lie? The first statement say he did or the one saying that you know he didn't? You knew the context from the OP.

I am so fucking sick of people here twisting his words to suit their agendas.

It’s in the books. He wasn’t crossing his fingers. The statement is directly out of his mouth. If you need to put an “ing” on the end, no sweat off my back. I take him at his word. He made the decision.

Your statement is out of your fevered wet dream, not out of his mouth.

If you need to remove an 'ing' on the end, I'm going to call it out.

I understand that an ethic investigation re" Franken is to go forward..I want so much to hear and see in public the testimony by these women - due process..and all..anonymous just doesn't cut it with me..

I am waiting for substance..concrete facts..ya'know - corroborated..., due process..under oath...good god..for a woman to say Al grabbed her flab is beyond me....

For the record I am a woman been around many years..heard a lot of BS..that one is over the top...I have tried to ignore this story of BS..and then to have tweeden texting with Uday...give it a rest..too many people are suffering around the world..today, specifically in CA....and the Feds want to cut funding..for fire and earthquake..and the rep. reps. from CA voted for it...

There is something more in the wind these days...

Al Franken is not going to fight this any further. He's going to step away from this bar brawl and move on. He'll probably write another book, show up on a variety of TV shows, and stay visible. Why should he submit himself for further abuse?

I like the idea of resigning from the Dems and staying as an independent. Hope that would be possible. Rather he stay as a Democrat Sen. of MN.

I guess I am hoping for anything that corrects the injustice as I see it.

Franken could say, I'll resign when he does. Also, Randi mentioned how upset people were with Gillibrand on her Facebook page. I went over to her Facebook page and there are hundreds of comments on her posts - like 99.99 negative. People are pissed.
