Politics vs Law?

Which wins?

Are we still a nation where no one is above the law, not even the President of the United States?

Or have we become so divided by politics that the law is no longer as important as we might think?

How important is the law?

Is it necessary to have justice in a democracy?

What would it mean if justice was defeated and politics triumphed?
