I doubt she meant deserted - maybe meaning desert - or more likely secluded. A deserted island would not have well maintained hotels or mansions. A deserted island would not have any amenities that need people to maintain them. So, unless the first family is bringing a HUGE staff that would arrive weeks before the Trumps to set everything up how would this work. They would need some solar panels to generate some electricity (no, Donald, coal would not do this), some means to provide hot and cold water, etc. Not to mention, no fast food restaurants and they would have bring most of their food.
If she really meant "deserted", this suggests that she is not dealing well with the throngs of people she needs to deal with as First Lady .... especially First Lady for Donald Trump.
