By the way, I have had friends who have done in vitro, and would not disparage that process for the world, but doesn't surrogacy usually require lots and lots of fertilized eggs to make sure that one of them takes?

1. yes, but not that many

we went through this process. They raise my wife's hormone levels(hyper Stem) and then collect as many eggs as they can. They take the best eggs and grab the best swimmers from me and mix thin in a dish.

They then implant then in my wife's womb, they put three to four at a time. It only worked on our second of three tries.

Very emotional process, as I had to inject my wife with needles everyday.

Worth it, I have an awesome kid.

I would be a total nihilist if it was not for my family.
