Paul Ryan makes it official: Republicans are coming after Medicare next
Michael Hiltzik Sat Dec 8 2017 LA Times

Apparently emboldened by the likelihood that they’ll pass an enormous tax cut for the rich before the year is out, congressional Republicans such as House Speaker Paul D. Ryan, R-Wisc., have been speaking more openly about how they’re planning to eviscerate government programs for the middle and working class.

Ryan laid out these plans the other day in a remarkable interview with Denver radio host Ross Kaminsky, a conservative and apparently a long-term Ryan supporter. During the companionable 10-minute chat, Ryan identified Medicare and Medicaid as the drivers of “the debt and the deficit.”

Never mind the tax cuts making their way through the Republican-controlled Congress, which nonpartisan analysts predict will explode the deficit by $1.4 trillion over 10 years — Ryan endorsed the GOP talking point that these will pay for themselves through economic growth. That’s an assertion for which neither Congress nor the Trump White House has produced any analytical support.

"So we’re going to have to get back next year at entitlement reform, which is how you tackle the debt and the deficit."
— House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., forgetting that his tax cuts will drive up the deficit by $1.4 trillion

Her BS objectivism philosophy was all about the strong, self-dependent, individual who makes his/her own way as opposed to takers need help from government yet she took her Social Security payments later in life.

Ryan is the same fucking way. He took Social Security for years after his father died when he was a kid, now he wants to deny that to others.

He's one sick, vile, POS puppy.

Paul Ryan has fantasized about destroying Medicaid since he was “drinking at a keg” in college
Ever since assuming office in 1999, Congressman Paul Ryan has made every attempt to take a chainsaw to the program
MICHAEL HAYNE, ALTERNET/salon 05.13.2017•2:29 AM

While most college kids have big dreams of moving out of their parents house and making a major impact on the world while in college, House Speaker Paul Ryan was having slightly different dreams.

His hatred for the working poor and government services designed to assist them during financially difficult times has been going on since his college days.

Just like the ambitions of every normal college kid, Paul Ryan was hoping that someday he could kill off Medicaid. After all, college is no place for idealism and striving to be a better human, but rather fulfilling the dreams of sociopathic (and hypocritical) philosopher Ayn Rand in between bong hits.

which I understand was made possible to him through “entitlements” to him via Social Security, etc, when his father died:

THere is a particularly foul aromatic stench emanating from his kind of vile agenda.

Most people who have Medicare actually like it, even Republicans.

How can they just take money that we have worked all our lives for to contribute to SS and Medicare? They are stealing OUR money! This is not an entitlement! This is money that we have put away to secure our futures. It is so wrong. How can they get away with this?
