They told my mom to keep on taking her medications she was taking before her pace maker surgery. Nobody told her to stop taking her blood-thinner medication. Almost bleed to death.

Stents are fairly routine. It's OK to be a little anxious, but not worried. See you when you get back.

They live on a citrus/avocado farm that is across the road from the Thomas Fire, which was burning on the hills across from their farm yesterday when I had to leave to return home. It's very unlikely that their home will be threatened. I doubt they will evacuate, in any case. At age 93, an evacuation would be more stressful than riding it out at home, especially since their home will almost certainly not be threatened by that fire.

I'm following the situation closely from here.
