(22,047 posts)It amazes me that a grown man behaves the way Trump does. In my life, no one would make up such silly and insulting names for one's opponents. (Well, some people are assholes!)
Stranger still, he thinks that this behavior makes him look strong! Of course, his Deplorables love his "telling it like it is," (whatever that means).
We live in a dispiriting time.

(24,568 posts)"fighting against Trump"......a normal person would use say "fighting against me". But this phrase leads me to believe that Trump is sending her a message. She isn't fighting just him. She is taking on a monolithic amalgam of national/international criminal interests that are attempting a hostile takeover of the world.

(11,257 posts)But the underlying message of the tweet, i.e., that she's an opportunist and a hypocrite, especially as it relates to her relationship with the Clintons, has been all over this place lately. The funny thing is that I've never been much of a Gillibrand fan (nor have I ever been strongly opposed to her). I'm just frustrated at the near constant threads I've seen attacking her this last week.
