(6,399 posts)And she defended the whole brouhahah over the physical/mental abuse with Amber Heard. It's not a clear cut and dry thing as all things point to Heard being quite a problematic person herself, and Depp not having much in the way of former significant others saying he did anything like this, but the rage over it is very amusing to watch. Once the accusation is out, true or not, it's long term damaging.

(26,269 posts)That same thing happened to Paul McCartney, during his divorce from Heather Mills.
The sad thing is, it takes just one proven exaggeration or someone spitefully trying to inflict some damage by using false accusations to bring suspicion onto the genuine reports.

(7,809 posts)JK Rowling was once on the dole (Brit for "welfare" ) and she never forgot where she once was and how she was pretty much helpless in the situation. She extends that understanding of those who get the short end of the stick to this very day (unlike creeps such as Paul Ryan who collected SS after his father died and now wants to deny it to others).

(9,730 posts)to get into "the billionaire boys club." People who earn their own money and know what it's like to be poor generally do support Democrats.
