To quote from Firesign Theatre "everything you know is wrong"

I'm not some mindless troll just trying to foment discontent. I'm a tired old fool that wants you to think honestly and critically about the information you digest. Can you honestly evaluate the source of the information and digest potential inherent and unconscious biases? Do you honestly search out alternative views?
Are the sources you rely on truly prescient about the effect of their interpretations of the problems and their potential positive and negative effects? Do they have a history of being right or wrong, by what percentage?
I used to be considered a geek because I was enthralled by the solidity of physical and mathematical sciences. It was so assuring that there were definitive rules that could be understood, interpreted.and applied.
When it comes to the real world things are not so well defined. Facts are facts and from a logical and rational perspective, they can't be challenged. In the real world, there are no such thing as facts. Perception IS reality! You don't really need to deliver on whatever bullshit that put you in a position of power, just repeat and repeat ad infnitum until a significant., percentage believes or doesn't question

Without some known facts, you wouldn't be typing on a computer or flying on an airplane.

Unfortunately, DT has shown how easy it is to deceive many people. We need to try to counter the disinformation with real information, not teach that "perception is reality."
