Question about campaign finances couldnt find answer on the Google

We all know 45 filed to run in 2020 in Inauguration Day and he’s been raisin campaign contributions since.

What happens to that money if he decides not to run in 2020 (or can’t run).

I’ve been wondering if this is another con to enrich himself.

The FEC says explicitly that campaign money cannot be used for personal stuff.

It goes on to say what unused campaign funds may be used for.

This time I did it as something like, Can a candidate spend campaign money on personal items after the campaign has ended?

I immediately got several hits and the FEC one took me straight to the page I linked. Other hits weren't as useful.

Usually the trick is to figure out exactly how to word the question, but most of the time I find what I'm looking for.
