Marshall County residents to vote on alcohol sales this election day

MARSHALL CO., Ala. (WAFF) - Marshall County leaders have paved the way for voters to tackle a hot-button issue on election day.

Come election day, Marshall County voters will decide whether to turn the county wet or keep it dry.

Businesses inside city limits are already able to sell alcohol, but as of right now, it is illegal for any county business to sell it.

On Wednesday, commissioners laid out their plan in case voters chose to go wet. In their plan, they outline strict rules.
