Related: About this forumALABAMA - YOU'RE ABOUT TO BECOME MORE LIBERAL
It looks like you'll have two more Democrats in the state before the next election, I just accepted a job in Gadsden (after 8 months of looking). We'll be moving sometime next year, probably looking to live near Lake Weiss. I'm in northwestern Georgia right now, so it won't be a huge move.... but hey, Alabama will be turning slightly bluer.

(6,587 posts)1. Hey, congrats on the new job, hope all goes well for you & your family. The one thing I know
it is beautiful country. Doesn't sound like any culture shock involved for you but a little more blue in AL will be good for it & you will be helping it do that as well.

They have Hillary's chances of winning AL at 0.2%, lower even than OK.
Welcome to Alabama, though you may come to regret it.
