Fight the GOP bill that would give billions to ICE & Trump's ballroom --- Indivisible

https://indivisible.actionkit.com/mailings/view/125548

DU'er,

This week, Republicans released the initial text of their reconciliation funding bill. In addition to the $70 billion they want to shovel into the regime’s mass deportation machine, they also snuck in $1 billion for Trump’s White House ballroom.

What’s not in the bill? Anything that would address the cost of living crisis that’s crushing millions of American families.

At a time when so many Americans are struggling to get by, Republicans want us to believe there’s no money for healthcare, housing, or food assistance. But they’re prepared to spend billions of dollars on concentration camps, bonuses for Border Patrol and ICE thugs, and a golden ballroom where Trump can host his billionaire friends.

Republicans know their agenda is massively unpopular, but they’re hoping they can pass this bill quickly before the public even hears about it. So, we need to move faster, be louder, and build a backlash big enough to stop this bill in its tracks.

🔴 If you have Republican Members of Congress:

Call your Republican representative, and tell them you don’t want any more of your tax dollars being funneled into Trump’s mass deportation machine.

Call your Republican senator(s) and demand the same. Then, encourage your friends and neighbors to call as well.

Use our toolkit to organize a district office visit or visibility action in your community.

🔵 If you have Democratic Members of Congress:

Email your Democratic Members of Congress, and tell them to mount a fierce campaign against this bill in the media, online, and even by stumping in Republican districts to try to toxify and block this bill.

Sign up for our phonebank to call voters in red districts and help mobilize them to oppose this bill.

No matter where you live, there’s an action you can take to help fight this bill and ensure that the regime doesn’t get to spend even more of our tax dollars on their secret police, mass deportation machine, and Trump’s palatial pet projects.

In solidarity,
Indivisible Team
