'Don’t wait until it’s at your front door': mom of slain teen Trayvon Martin urges at UNL

LINCOLN Sybrina Fulton told a Nebraska audience that her worst day was not the day she learned her son, Trayvon Martin, had been shot and killed.
The worst was a few days later, when she saw her 17-year-old laid out in a casket. Trayvon was dressed all in white, the kind of clothes he should have worn to his prom.
What she felt was not just grief, Fulton said.
It was injustice.
