Condoleezza Rice leads potential 2016 U.S. Senate hopefuls in California

Source: Reuters

Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice polled at the head of a crowded pool of potential candidates to succeed long-time Senator Barbara Boxer, according to a Field Poll released on Wednesday.

The poll showed that when likely California voters were asked whether they would vote for or against 18 prominent possible candidates in 2016, 49 percent of likely California voters said they would be inclined to support Rice, a Republican.

Rice's support was significantly stronger among likely Republican voters, with almost three-quarters saying they would back her. The next closest Republican candidate, former State Senator Phil Wyman, saw only 51 percent support from Republicans.

California Attorney General Kamala Harris, who is a Democrat and the only person listed in the poll who has formally announced they are running, saw the most support of any Democrat, with about three-quarters of likely voters in her party saying they would back her.

Best campaign ad against her are her own words to the 9/11 Commission (to whom she also lied through her fugly gap-toothed face) when the families of 9/11 victims gasped in horror when she read the title of that infamous PDB.

Can't believe this lying POS is being considered for the halls of the Senate instead of being thrown before the mercy of The Hague.

Feb 2015

(With apologies to John Gillespie Magee)

Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of truth,
And cast my lies from crimson-lipsticked lips;
Onward I've lied, and weaved a rambling myth
Of grateful crowds ...and claimed a hundred things
You have not swallowed...weaved, demurred and spun
Fading into sullen silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting media along, and flung
My eager crap through endless streams of wind.
Up, up, the false, delirious flaming lies
I've topped the biggest ones with easy grace
When neither Rove, nor even Cheney could.
And while with soiled, uplifted heels I've trod
The pure untrespassed sanctity of truth...
...put out my hand, and poked the eye of God.

Oldie but goodie

About terrorism as member of NSC. That means she lied, or is incompetent, or cavalier. All disqualify her for any serious office, public or private. Lay on top her role in Iraq war crime, and her role in torture review and approvals and this lady needs to spend rest of her life in prison

Usually they run somebody with enough money to self-finance. This last term they ran somebody nobody'd heard of who didn't have any money, and come election he still had lower name recognition than First Corgi Sutter Brown.

I wouldn't worry about them actually running Condi- there's zero chance of winning and she doesn't seem all that interested in politics these days anyhow.

Thu Feb 19, 2015, 11:53 AM

http://www.field.com/fieldpollonline/subscribers/Rls2495.pdf

Respondents were read a list of 18 "candidates" (not all on the list have declared, or even expressed interest). The list included 11 Dems, and 7 Republicans. Respondents could give their preference on as many names as they wished.

Rice had the highest response, followed tightly by all 11 of the dems, who were then followed by all of the Republicans.

This was basically a question of "I'll read a list of names, who has the most well known name?"

The truth is that Rice has not shown any interest in running, and even if she did run, she would face overwhelming preference for ANY Democratic opponent.

In Malaysia, GW Bush & Co. have actually been tried in absentia as war criminals, and found guilty. If
she should go to Europe, she'd be arrested and sent to The Hague for trial. If she should go to Malaysia,
she'd probably be sent to prison.

That lying bitch should be in prison. She and her henchmen are dripping in the blood of the innocent victims of their greed. I thought that it was sickening when she was admitted as a token female member of Augusta, but again it could be expected from the multimillionaire oligarchs who own the club to reward one of their most predominate supporters. But when I saw her playing in the AT&T pro-am in California, I knew that our sense of justice had hit rock bottom. When professional golfers, who are supposedly noted for their integrity, welcome her into their midst you realize that things have gone straight to hell in a hand basket. They didn't utter one word of protest, but again they have become just a pack of money grubbers just as have the rest of professional athletes. Yes, some throw a million or two into a charitable cause to get their names on plaques at glitzy formal dinners, but in reality they see it as an investment that will reap them millions in return.
