MADISON — A state appeals court says a portion of a law that gives the governor the power to block new education rules is unconstitutional.

Republican Gov. Scott Walker signed a law in 2011 that requires state agencies to get gubernatorial approval before drafting new administrative rules, legal language that enacts statutes and agency policies.

Teachers and parents filed a lawsuit in 2011 alleging the law was unconstitutional as applied to the state Department of Public Instruction, arguing it gives other state officers more power than the elected DPI superintendent.

Gov Scott Walker takes as much control away from local communities as he is able. His current proposed budget has many more areas where he assigns control to his administration

.... is the combination of slashing funding for the UW system and trying to gut regulations on for-profit "schools".
Those schools are nothing but fronts for companies to dupe marginal students with low or no income into taking the max federal aid possible, to get a worthless, overpriced 'education', and be stuck with loans that they can't pay back so their credit gets ruined and the tax payer gets stuck with. So students won't be able to attend regular UW campuses and will turn to the 'online colleges' that will enrich Walker's pals and do NOTHING to educate students.

And I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see the emergence of "Faith Based" for profit "colleges" soon too, so they can essentially become 'charter colleges' spreading the RW gospel while getting federal financial aid and further dumbing down the population that most needs educated.

That train needs to be stopped before it leaves the station.

Now he has to go before the public and ask for a Constitutional change in the state, and if the Wisconsinites really look at this piece of work again for a forth time, they just might IMPEACH this non educated right wing KOCH brother bought politician who has and still does have issues with his corruption in his elections.
Now, if only the district and federal legal system can give the public the information they need with the continuing corruption from this past hypocrites cronies using there offices as slush funds for his re-election

Thought the Recall would work, well, that did not happen. Used to be a Political Statement that was applied to the Governmental functions and it goes something like, well, the Agencies will function despite the Idiot in the Governors chair. Appears the Wisconsin Citizens have swallowed this hook line and sinker. And not fully realizing just how F----d up things have become, they reelected this bunch of Koch suck asses. Noticed how the state is loosing jobs and economic investment to their neighbors to the west.

but alas, these mother*****s are all in and on my body. They are telling me that being "smart" is not important, and my sole purpose here on earth is to make babies. Rape and abuse is their GAWD's will and monies taken from my payment such as SSI, Medicare, unemployment, benefits in general is only for the rich. Voting rights is only for the 1-2%ers as well as civil rights.

Republicans actually believe the REASON Reagan was universally loved (which he wasn't) was because he was anti-Union.

They actually believed since Walker is anti-Union too that America would carry him to the White House cheering all the way.

The REALLY funny thing is some of them STILL believe it.
